About the Conference

MII hosts the annual Undergraduate Investment Conference Sponsored by the David Kudla Foundation at the Ross School of Business each fall. The ninth annual UIC was held Friday, September 30, 2016 through Sunday, October 2, 2016, promoting interaction between students from across the country and some of the most experienced professionals in the financial services industry. Past keynote speakers have included Brian Stutland of the Stutland Volatility Group, Ken Buckfire of Miller Buckfire, Doug Chase of Ascendancy Capital Management LLC, and most recently in 2016, John Griffin of Blue Ridge Capital. We welcome you to join students from Michigan, Stanford, Notre Dame, Cornell, Columbia, NYU, Texas, Virginia, and other universities to compete in the nation’s premier stock pitch competition.

The Conference features a stock pitch competition, trading simulation game, and a keynote speech. The Conference strives to improve student investment organizations across the country by allowing participants to bring back new ideas and initiatives to their respective universities.
