Vijita Kamath

President

Vijita is a Junior studying Finance and Math at the University of Michigan. Since joining MII in the Fall of her Sophomore year, her pitches include QVC (long) and CLUB (long). Outside of MII, Vijita is a member of the Michigan Investment Banking Club and VP of Women in Mathematics. Her previous work experience includes Private Equity at The Abraaj Group in UAE. In her free time, Vijita enjoys dancing, trying out new food and teaching/volunteering with Ann Arbor communities. Next summer, she will be joining Barclays as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.

Nicholas Kuchar

VP of Education

Nick is a Junior studying finance at the University of Michigan. Since joining MII in the Fall of his freshman year, his pitches include long Whole Foods, long XPO Logistics, and long Adamas Pharmaceuticals. Outside of MII, Nick is a recruiting analyst for the University of Michigan's football team and is a member of the Maize and Blue Endowment Fund. His previous work experience includes being a summer equity analyst for Tufton Capital and a summer analyst at Apollo Global Management in New York City in their distressed debt division. Next summer, he will be joining PJT Partners in their Restructuring & Special Situations group. In his free time, Nick enjoys debating college football, keeping up on current events, and watching The Office.

Alex Sooch

VP of Investments

Alex is a Sophomore studying finance at the University of Michigan. Since joining MII in the Fall of his freshman year, his pitches include long Verrica Pharmaceuticals, and long The Medicines Company. Outside of MII, Alex is a member of the Maize and Blue Endowment Fund and the Michigan Investment Banking Club. His previous work experience includes being a summer analyst for Diametric Capital and summer intern for Ocuphire Pharma. Next summer, he plans on joining Apollo in New York City as a summer analyst in their distressed debt division. In his free time, Alex enjoys playing golf and skiing.

James Kryza

VP Finance and Operations

James Kryza is a junior studying economics and history. Since joining MII as a Freshman, James’ pitches have included longs on Micron, Seritage, and Naspers. This summer he will be working with Mastercard as a data analyst in their implementation group. Prior to this, he had a similar role with Masco’s marketing department. In his free time, James enjoys playing soccer & fifa, reading the economist, and finding a reason to laugh.

Henry Womack

VP of External Relations

Henry is a sophomore at the University of Michigan studying finance and public policy. His pitches include long Skyline Champion and a QVC credit pitch. Outside of MII, Henry is involved with Delta Sigma Pi and Delta Upsilon. Previously he interned with Owner Resource Group, a lower middle market private equity firm in Austin, TX. This summer he will be interning at a hedge fund called Hawkeye Capital located in New York. In his free time Henry enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking and fishing, and watching Game of Thrones.

Alex Kotlyar

VP of New Member Recruiting

Alex Kotlyar is a sophomore at the University of Michigan studying finance and accounting. Last summer he worked at a local aerospace company as a project management intern. He is now working part-time as a fixed income analyst at Telemus Capital and will continue working there this summer. Alex is also a member of the Michigan Club Boxing Team and a brother of Delta Upsilon fraternity. In his free time he enjoys working out, reading, and watching Game of Thrones.

Elizabeth Bonvouloir

UIC Co-Director

Elizabeth Bonvouloir is a sophomore at the University of Michigan studying finance and accounting. This past year, she interned with MedKairos, Inc., a medical technology company in Ann Arbor, on their business development team. Prior to that, she spent a summer in Palo Alto at Stanford’s Cardiothoracic Surgical Skills Education Center as an intern and research fellow. This summer, she will be interning with Oaktree Capital Management in their Transportation Infrastructure Fund. In her free time, she enjoys running, swimming, yoga, and watching Great British Baking Show.

Jacqueline Kenny

Jacqueline Kenny is a sophomore at the University of Michigan studying finance and accounting with a minor in English. Last summer, she worked at Nordstrom as a sales associate and currently works as a BA 100 Peer Coach at Michigan Ross. This summer, she will be interning at Bloomfield Capital in Birmingham, Michigan working in commercial real estate debt and equity. Jacqueline’s pitches have included long Naspers, Verrica, and Kering. In her free time, she enjoys reading, downhill skiing, golf, and running a fashion blog.
