Amane Anderson— President

Amane is a Junior from Queens, New York studying Business. He currently serves as President and previously served as Vice President of Education. This past summer, he worked at Advent International as a Private Equity Summer Analyst in their Industrials Group, and next summer he will join The Raine Group as an Investment Banking and Growth Equity Summer Analyst. In his free time, Amane enjoys reading, cooking, and watching basketball.

Manasvi Mothe — VP of New Member Recruitment

Manasvi is a Sophomore from Ashburn, Virginia studying Business. She currently serves as VP of New Member Recruitment. Manasvi is also involved in Michigan Investment Banking Club and Alternative Investments Club on campus. This past summer, she interned at TGA Capital, a private equity firm based in San Fransisco. In her free time, Manasvi enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

Sidd Gupta — VP of Investments

Sidd is a junior from Atlanta, Georgia studying business. He currently serves as the Vice President of Investments and previously served as Director of Investments Committee. This past summer he worked as a private equity analyst at Accel-KKR and will be joining PJT Partners this summer in their strategic advisory group. In his free time, Sidd enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and watching sports.

Mateo Hernandez — VP of Education

Mateo is a Junior from the Chicago suburbs studying business. He currently serves as VP of Education. Next summer, he will join Evercore as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. In past summers, Mateo worked as a summer analyst at Two Sigma Impact and at several search funds. Mateo enjoys staying active, listening to music, and watching football. 

Sri Gogulamudi — VP of Operations & Finance

Sri is a Sophomore from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia studying Business. She currently serves as Vice President of Operations and Finance. Sri is also involved in the Michigan Investment Banking Club, UpRound Ventures, Phi Gamma Nu business fraternity on campus. This past summer, she interned at ResMed as an M&A Intern, and next summer she will join PSG Equity working as a growth equity intern. In her free time, she enjoys doing hot yoga, reading, and exploring restaurants around Ann Arbor.

Abhi Vangapandu — VP of External Relations

Abhi is a Sophomore from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia studying Business. He currently serves as Vice President of External Relations. Abhi is also involved in Phi Chi Theta business fraternity, Michigan Investment Banking Club, and Ross Social Venture Fund. Next summer, he will be interning at Odyssey Investment Partners as a Private Equity Summer Analyst in their New York office. In his free time, he enjoys playing poker and watching football.

Grant Preves — VP of Education

Grant is a sophomore from Crystal Lake, Illinois, studying Business. He currently sits on IC and will serve as VP of Freshman Education next year, Last summer he worked for a growth equity shop focused on vertical SaaS businesses. Since joining MII, his pitches have included Daily Journal, Jakks Pacific, Kaspi and Schnieder National. In his free time, Grant enjoys watching baseball, playing tennis and studying astronomy. 

Hector Benitez Ventura — VP of Internal Relations

Hector is a student from Orange County, California. He currently serves as VP External. Hector is also involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, Michigan PEVC, ALPFA, and BlackGen Capital on campus. This summer he’ll be joining General Atlantic as a summer analyst. In past summers, he has interned in Real Estate Private Equity at Springer Capital and Product Management at HSBC. In his free time, Hector enjoys running, reading, and traveling.

Avani Singireddy — VP of DEI

Avani is a Sophomore from Madison, Alabama studying Economics and Philosophy with a minor in Statistics. She currently serves as VP of DEI. Avani is also involved with the Mock Federal Open Markets Committee, Yoga Club and the Undergraduate Philosophy Club on campus. In the past she had had experience within the private markets and most recently interned as an Equity Research Analyst at LVS Advisory. In her free time, Avani enjoys doing yoga, reading and rewatching Seinfeld.

Coby Brown— Co-Director, UIC 17

Coby is a Sophomore from New York City majoring in Business with a minor in Linguistics. He currently serves as the UIC 2024 Co-Director and is also involved in TAMID Group on campus. This past summer, he interned at Waterfall Asset Management, a structured credit asset manager. Coby enjoys playing tennis, skiing, and following the NBA.

Matthew Pell— Co-Director, UIC 17

Matthew is a Sophomore from Dix Hills, NY studying business with a minor in Performing Arts Management and Entrepreneurship. He currently serves serves as Co-Director of the annual ENGAGE Undergraduate Investment Conference. Last summer, he was an intern for a boutique investment bank based out of Los Angeles. Outside of school, he enjoys all thing sports, playing piano, and spending time with friends and family.
