MII Professional Development

Recruiting Preparation
MII members have interviewed with or worked at nearly every major financial services and consulting firm. Our senior members help our younger members get prepared so they succeed to the best of their ability during recruiting.
Alumni Network
MII's alumni are actively involved in helping our current members succeed. As the oldest investing club at the University of Michigan, we have one of the most extensive and successful alumni networks of any student organization in the country.
Exclusive Opportunities
MII partners with companies to host events exclusively for MII members. Buyside and sellside firms routinely offer private opportunities just for our members.

MII does a phenomenal job of setting up their students for success - the breakfast club teaches the nuts and bolts of finance and accounting, and the stock pitches apply these skills in the form of rigorous modeling. The alumni network is incredibly powerful, and served as my foot in the door for both of my internships, at Apollo and Goldman Sachs, and for my full time position at Ares.
